 ﷽ Layali Lubnan - Lebanese Night is an easy and delicious Middle Eastern Dessert.  The base layer is a semolina pudding flavoured with Orange blossom water and rose water. It is topped with a layer or  homemade Ashta or cream.  Then Garnished  with silvered pistachios and rose petals. Usually Served with orange blossom and rose flavoured sugar syrup. This pudding was sweet enough for me to enjoy without sugar syrup. But kids preferred little sugar syrup on top. Recipe: Ingredients For Semolina pudding 1 litre full fat milk 3/4 cup fine semolina 1/2 Cup sugar Pinch salt  For Flavour 1 tbspn Orange blossom water 1-2 Tbspn Rose water Few saffron strands (optional) 1 tspn vanilla essence ( optional) Soak saffron in orange blossom, rose water and add. Caramel Pudding

﷽ Easy and delicious pudding. Can be served warm or chilled. Blend egg, milk , sugar with vanilla and milk powder  pour over caramelized sugar and steam cook till done. I used the pulse mode in the blender and let it rest for a few minutes while  I caramelised the sugar. So there wasn't much foam in the custard. Recipe: Ingredients   For Custard 4 Eggs 1 Tspn Vanilla essence  ( cardamom powder also can be used fo flavor, but I prefer vanilla) 1/3 -1/2 Cup raw sugar ( can add more if you want it to be sweeter) pinch salt 4 Tbspn Milk powder 300 ml milk For Caramel 3-4 Tbspn Sugar Directions Add eggs, sugar, vanilla essence, milk powder, salt and milk to the blender. Blend on pulse mode. Caramelize the sugar till it turns golden brown. Pour to the mould. Strain and pour the custard . Bring the water in the steamer to boil.
