Club sandwich
This Club Sandwich is a deliciously layered sandwich with turkey mortadella, fresh veggies, cheese, and a flavorful homemade sauce. Perfect for a hearty meal or a quick, satisfying snack!
Ingredients
For the sandwich:
- 3 slices multigrain bread
- 1-2 slices turkey mortadella
- 1-2 leaves rosa lettuce
- 2–3 thin tomato slices
- 2–3 cucumber pickle slices
- 1 slice cheese
- 1 boiled egg, sliced
- Butter (optional, for toasting)
For the sauce:
- 1 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 tsp ketchup
- 1½ tsp mustard sauce
- 1 tsp honey
- ½ tsp hot sauce
Instructions
- Prepare the sauce: In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard sauce, honey, and hot sauce. Set aside.
- Assemble the first layer:
- Take one slice of bread and spread a layer of the sauce.
- Place lettuce, turkey mortadella, tomato slices, and cucumber pickles on top.
- Build the second layer:
- Spread sauce on another slice of bread and place it over the first layer.
- Add a cheese slice and sliced boiled egg.
- Sprinkle pepper powder on top of the egg ( optional)
- Finish the sandwich:
- Spread sauce on the last slice of bread and place it on top to complete the stack.
- Lightly press down and slice diagonally for easy serving.
- Optional twist: Swap the boiled egg slice with a sunny-side-up egg or an omelet .
