This crispy chicken sandwich is a quick and satisfying meal, perfect for when you're craving something crunchy and flavorful. With air-fried chicken strips, fresh toppings, and a creamy shawarma sauce, it’s an easy homemade delight.

For the sandwich:
- 3-4 hotdog roll
- 3-4 frozen chicken strips (Khazan or any brand)
- Iceberg lettuce, shredded
- Cucumber pickles, sliced
- Butter (for toasting the bun)

For the shawarma sauce:
- 2 garlic cloves (wrapped in foil with a little oil, air-fried at 205°C for 20 minutes)
- 1 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp yogurt
- 1 tsp ketchup
- 2-3 drops hot sauce
- Salt & pepper to taste
Instructions
- Prepare the chicken: Air fry the frozen chicken strips at 205°C for 20 minutes or until golden and crispy.
- Make the shawarma sauce: Mash the roasted garlic and mix it with mayonnaise, yogurt, ketchup, hot sauce, salt, and pepper.
- Toast the bun: Spread a little butter on the inside of the hotdog roll and toast until golden.
- Assemble the sandwich: Layer the shredded lettuce on the bun, followed by crispy chicken strips, pickles, and a generous drizzle of shawarma sauce.
- Serve & enjoy!
