Crispy Chicken Sandwich

This crispy chicken sandwich is a quick and satisfying meal, perfect for when you're craving something crunchy and flavorful. With air-fried chicken strips, fresh toppings, and a creamy shawarma sauce, it’s an easy homemade delight.

Ingredients

  • For the sandwich:

    • 3-4 hotdog roll
    • 3-4 frozen chicken strips (Khazan or any brand)
    • Iceberg lettuce, shredded
    • Cucumber pickles, sliced
    • Butter (for toasting the bun)
  • For the shawarma sauce:

    • 2 garlic cloves (wrapped in foil with a little oil, air-fried at 205°C for 20 minutes)
    • 1 tbsp mayonnaise
    • 1 tbsp yogurt
    • 1 tsp ketchup
    • 2-3 drops hot sauce
    • Salt & pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare the chicken: Air fry the frozen chicken strips at 205°C for 20 minutes or until golden and crispy.
  2. Make the shawarma sauce: Mash the roasted garlic and mix it with mayonnaise, yogurt, ketchup, hot sauce, salt, and pepper.
  3. Toast the bun: Spread a little butter on the inside of the hotdog roll and toast until golden.
  4. Assemble the sandwich: Layer the shredded lettuce on the bun, followed by crispy chicken strips, pickles, and a generous drizzle of shawarma sauce.
  5. Serve & enjoy!

This crispy chicken sandwich is packed with flavor and takes minimal effort—perfect for  lunch box or a quick snack!
