Chicken Mayo Sandwiches
This creamy, flavorful chicken mayo filling makes for a quick and delicious sandwich, perfect for breakfast or a light meal.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup cooked and shredded chicken
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 1 tbsp oil or butter
- 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
- 1 small onion, thinly sliced
- 1 small carrot, grated
- 1 green chili, finely chopped (optional, for spice)
- 2–3 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 tsp ketchup
- A few drops of hot sauce (optional)
- Chopped parsley, for freshness
Method:
- In a pan, heat oil or butter and sauté the ginger-garlic paste. Add the sliced onions and cook until caramelized.
- Stir in the grated carrot and green chili (if using), mixing well. Add the shredded chicken and season with salt and pepper.
- Turn off the heat and add in the chopped parsley, mayonnaise, ketchup, and hot sauce. Mix until well combined.
- Spread the filling between slices of bread and enjoy fresh or toasted.
