Chicken Momos
Ingredients
For Dough
- 2 Cups Flour
- ½ Teaspoon Salt
- Lukewarm Water as needed to form a smooth firm dough
For Chicken Filling
- 1 onion
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 a small piece ginger
- 1 Spring onion ( white and green)
- Few parsley leaves
- 2 boneless chicken breast
- Salt
- Pepper
- 1 tablespoon Soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon Paprika powder
Directions
- Mix Flour, salt.
- Add water little by little as needed and knead to a smooth firm dough
- Cover and let it rest for 10-15 minutes.
- In a grinder jar add the ingredients for chicken filling and grind to a smooth paste.
- Take a small ball of dough, roll to a circle, add a spoon of chicken filling and make momos in desired shapes.
- Steam the momos for 20 minutes.
For Sweet Chilli sauce.
Ingredients
- ½ Cup water
- ¼ Cup Vinegar
- ¼ Cup Jagger
- 1 Teaspoon Soy Sauce
- 1 Teaspoon Paprika powder
- ½ Teaspoon chilli flakes
- 2 Garlic pods finely chopped
- Pinch salt
- Cornstarch slurry
Directions
- Add the above ingredients except cornstarch slurry, in a pot and boil till jaggery is melted and everything is mixed well.
- Make a cornstarch slurry with 1 Teaspoon cornflour and 1 Tablespoon water, pour and boil till it becomes translucent.
- Adjust the amount of cornstarch according to required thickness.
