Turkish Style Chicken
This is an easy and delicious Chicken curry. It goes well with any flatbread like chapati, naan, poratta, pathiri etc.
The Chicken is marinated with herbs and spices and shallow fried in oil.
Then topped with bechamel sauce and mozzarella cheese.
I tried adding cooked pasta in the leftover curry and it turned out to be a very delicious pasta dish.
Recipe:
Ingredients
- Boneless chicken breast cut in cubes
- Ginger garlic paste
- Lime juice
- Yoghurt
- Tomato paste
- Home made Taco seasoning ( Recipe card Below)👉Or add onion powder ,garlic powder, paprika powder,chilli powder,cumin, black pepper,oregano👈
- Bechamel Sauce ( recipe below)
Directions
- Marinate the chicken with above ingredients and keep refrigerated for at least an hour.
- Shallow fry the chicken till done.
- Pour the bechamel sauce on top of the cooked chicken.
- Add shredded mozzarella on top and cook till cheese is melted.
- Garnish with parsley/ coriander leaves.

For Bechamel Sauce
Ingredients
- Butter
- Flour
- Milk
- Salt
- Pepper
- Oregano
Directions
- In a pan add butter and flour and saute for few minutes.
- Add in milk little by little mixing them well on low flame.
- Bring the sauce to boil and cook till it thickens.
- Add salt, pepper and oregano.
