Saffron Cardamom Shrikhand

Recipe:
Ingredients
- 1 Cup Hung Curd
- Pinch Salt
- 2-3 Tbspn Thick Cream
- Few Saffron Strands
- ½ Teaspoon Cardamom Powder
- 2-3 Tablespoon Sugar ( adjust according to required sweetness)
- 1 Tablespoon Rose Water
Directions
To Make hung curd
- Place a strainer above a deep bowl.
- Place cheese cloth/ muslin cloth over the strainer
- Add 1½-2 Cup full fat yoghurt ( approx.) to the cheese cloth, cover and keep it in the fridge for 5-6 hours
💕I used the water from the yoghurt to make chapati.💕
- To hung yoghurt/Curd, add thick cream and pinch salt.
- Grind saffron with some sugar, add in cardamom powder and rose water and mix well.
- Add this to the curd and mix well.
Measurements and approximate and can be adjusted according to taste.
