Waffles, Blueberry sauce and Honey

Recipe:
Waffles
Ingredients
- 2 Eggs Separated
- 1 ½ Cup Milk
- ½ Lime
- 1 Teaspoon Vanilla essence
- 1 Tablespoon oil
- 2-3 Tablespoon raw sugar
- 1¾ Cups Flour
- ¼ Cup Corn Flour
- ½ Teaspoon baking soda
- ¾ Teaspoon baking powder
- ½ Teaspoon salt
Directions
- Add juice of ½ lime to milk, stir and keep it for 5-10 minutes.( Buttermilk substitute)
- Whip the egg whites till it for soft peaks.
- Mix flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
- Add milk ( buttermilk substitute), egg yolks, oil, vanilla essence and sugar and mix well.
- Fold in the egg whites.
- Pre heat the waffle maker and grease with oil.
- Pour the batter ( fill ¾ of the waffle maker only as the batter expands while cooking)
- Cover and cook till done.
- It takes 5-6 minutes on my waffle maker.
- Let it cool on a wire rack.
👉 Can skip the corn flour and use 2 cups all purpose flour also, but adding cornflour makes it lighter.👈
Blueberry Sauce
Ingredients
- ½Cup Frozen Blueberries
- 3-4 Tablespoon Sugar (as needed)
- 2-3 Tablespoon water
- Few drops lime juice
- Pinch salt
- Pinch cinnamon Powder

Directions
- Add blueberries, sugar, water, lime juice, salt in a saucepan.
- Bring to boil.
- Mash the blueberries with a spatula and cook till it thickens.
- Add in cinnamon and mix well.
Honey cream
Ingredients
- 125 ml thick cream
- 2 Tablespoon honey
Directions
- Add honey to cream and mix well.
