Corn Dogs

 Corn Dogs Recipe: 1/2 Cup Corn Meal  1/2 Cup Flour (more if needed)  1 Tbspn Sugar  Little salt A pinch of baking soda  1 Egg 1/2 Cup milk Honey (optional)  Hot dogs  Skewers Oil for frying  Mix the dry ingredients, now add beaten egg, milk and honey if using and mix well, it should be a thick batter (add more flour or milk if needed) Pour in a thin tall glass. Pat dry the hotdogs with kitchen towel and skewer them. There should be enough oil in the pan to deep fry the corn dogs ( use deep pots)

Strawberry Nutella Mousse

This is a quick, easy and delicious mousse recipe. Recipe: Ingredients For Base Digestive biscuit  4-5 Melted butter (2-3 tbspn) Strawberry slices For Chocolate ganache Chocolate Thick cream For Nutella Mousse Whipping cream Sugar Vanilla essence Nutella Condensed Milk For decoration (optional) Caramel Sauce Cream Directions Base Crush the digestive biscuit and mix with melted butter. Chocolate ganache Chopped chocolate +thick cream (1:1) Microwave  for 30s add butter and vanilla essence and mix well Nutella mousse Whip the whipping cream with sugar and vanilla essence add condensed milk and nutella and mix well Layering In a glass add digestive biscuit(base layer). Then place strawberry slices. Add the nutella mousse. Add chocolate ganache. Decorate with caramel sauce and cream. Refer to video for more details . Even though it sounds simple, it really is a very delicious dessert.

Chicken Dum Biryani (Calicut Style)

Even though my biryani didn't turned out to be as tasty as that of my grandmother's, mother-in-laws, or mother's, Finally I got it close to theirs after so many attempts.    Recipe: Chicken (700-800g)(cut into small pieces) For Marination Ginger garlic green chilly leaves yoghurt  Lime juice salt  pepper Turmeric Garam masala Cumin Fennel Coriander powder Add the above ingredients in a grinder and blend. Marinate the chicken and keep refrigerated. (Tastes better if marinated overnight) To cook Rice Rice 2 cups( I used Basmati) Whole spices -Bay leaf -Cinnamon -Cloves -Green Cardamom  -Black Cardamom  -Star Anise Garam Masala Ghee oil Salt Boiling water. Wash the rice and soak for few min. In a pan add ghee and oil. Add whole spices. Add the rice and sauté for few min.  Add salt and Garam Masala. Add boiling water and cook till 80-90% done.
